The Awesome Foundation Chicago

I co-founded the Chicago chapter of the Awesome Foundation. We give out monthly $1000 microgrants of our own money to fund ideas that that be completed for $1000. Like launching Little Libraries, training barbers in Black communities to educate their customers on infant death, and creating sex toys for the disabled. The organization began in Boston, and now has chapters in places as diverse as Pakistan, Armenia, and more exotic locales like Gainesville, Florida.
